15/52 Clap

To be honest with you this week was a mess, I wanted to do some steel wool light painting, but it started raining and I didn’t really have any ideas, so this is a last minute picture for the 52 week project…

So the setup is simple: 2 strobes, both at 1/16 are set on either side of the model (me, as usual), flagged to avoid lens flare and a black background.

I put some flour into my hands and tried to clap at the right time (believe me, it is hard with a 10 second timer) and that’s about it… Told you, I really didn’t have any backup plan if the steel wool didn’t work out. Maybe in the next few weeks…

Settings for the shot:
Exposure: 1/160 sec
Aperture: F8
ISO: 100
Focal length: 50mm
Camera: Canon 40D + EF 50mm F1.8
